Jessica Carrillo is the host of Telemundo’s “Al Rojo Vivo,” a daily news magazine.  She has also contributed as a guest host of the daily morning show "Un Nuevo Día" and as the host of the red-carpet coverage of the Latin Billboard Awards and the Latin AMA’s.

 

With more than 10 years of experience in Hispanic television, Jessica has managed to win the affection of audiences and build strong connections with some of the biggest artists in Latin media delivering exclusive interviews with Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer López, Gerardo Ortiz, Julión Álvarez, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Don Omar, Pepe Aguilar and La Banda el Recodo just to mention a few.

 

Jessica has built a bridge between Latino viewers and Hollywood's biggest stars by covering such acclaimed events as The Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammy and Billboard awards all while delivering unique interviews with such “A” listers as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Robin Williams and Will Ferrell among others.  She has also participated as a special guest on the English language program "The Rundown" on the MSNBC network.

 

For the past 4 years, Jessica has been the face of digital on telemundo.com, working on the “livestream” broadcasts of the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Alma Awards, and Billboard Mexican Music Awards. Jessica is originally from Teocaltiche Jalisco, Mexico and has a BA in Journalism and Communication from the University of Texas at Arlington.

 

She began her career in Las Vegas as a weather forecaster and then moved to Dallas to host Accesso Total, which brought her to Los Angeles. 

 

She now lives in Miami with her husband and son.
