Jesus Diaz, or as he is known on TV, “Chef Yisus”, is the daily chef on the #1 ranked Spanish language morning show, “Despierta America” that airs on Univision. 

 

In addition to his cooking segments, he often joins the entire morning show cast during the entertainment and talk segments as well. Making good use of his sports background, Jesus also contributes periodically to the sports segment, Despierta Con Deportes. 

 

Through the years, he has built quite a significant fan base and those die-hard fans have been casting their votes for their beloved Chef vying for a spot on People en Español’s Most Beautiful List.

In addition to his work on Television, he recently published his first cookbook with Random House titled “Cosina Delicioso con Chef Yisus.” Jesus lives in Miami with his wife and two young daughters.
