Jorge Bernal is currently the host of “La Voz” (The Voice), a musical competition show that airs on Telemundo/NBC Universal. Prior to that, he hosted “La Voz Kids” for 4 seasons featuring the same vocal competition but among children ages 7 through 15. “La Voz Kids” became the most successful reality show in Telemundo history. Jorge is also the host of “Suelta La Sopa,” a daily entertainment and celebrity news show featuring segments that reveal intimate secrets about top stars that airs nationally on Telemundo.
On radio, Bernal is the host of “Subeme La Radio” distributed by GLR Media Networks across the United States. Jorge is one of the primary hosts of Telemundo’s red carpet shows for their premier properties including; “Premios Billboard” and the “Latin AMA’s”.
He began working in television when he was 20 years old and since then, is frequently featured in magazines such as Ocean Drive and People en Español where he was named one of their ‘50 Mas Bellos’. Earlier in his career, Jorge got his big break when he became the entertainment anchor on “Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste”. The renowned news magazine show “Al Rojo Vivo” is produced by Telemundo/NBC Universal and is seen national and internationally in 15 countries.
As an EMMY® award-winner and one of the best-known figures on U.S. Hispanic television, Bernal has charmed audiences and celebrities alike with special reports and exclusive interviews with many of the industry’s biggest stars, including Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Gerardo Ortiz, Jennifer López, Eva Longoria and Jenni Rivera. He has served as host for a number of Telemundo specials, among them the Miss Universe pre-show, “Camino a la Corona” and has hosted various live streams for Telemundo.com during special musical and political events.
