Emmy-winner Maity Interiano is currently an on-air correspondent for Univision Network’s No. 1 rated live national morning show, “Despierta América” and is the creator and host of her personal travel blog,  www.MaityontheGo.com.

She has reported on some the biggest news making events in recent history including;

the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, the 2016 Presidential Inauguration from Washington DC; and she reported from Rome during “Despierta América’s” Holy Week Special and the Canonization of Saint Mother Teresa.

 

In 2018 and 2015 she hosted the Rose Parade live from Pasadena, California, for which she won an Emmy Award. Interiano was also honored at the 2014 Televisa and Premios TV y Novelas Awards as “Mejor Conductora, Favorita del Publico” (Best Reporter and Fan Favorite). 

Interiano’s committment to helping the Latin community is evident in how she donates her time to Fundación Amor y Vida in Honduras, an organization that provides comprehensive care to orphans affected by HIV/AIDS and sponsors education through a scholarship for  young adults. She also participates actively with Fundación Teletón USA and Honduras.

Maity was born in the United States and raised in Honduras.  She currently resides in Miami.
